My Top 10 Favorite Dragons

Description

Here are my top 10 favorite Dragons.

1) Smaug(The Hobbit trilogy)-Easily my favorite dragon. Ever since I watched the Lord of the Ring movies, I wanted to watch the Hobbit movies. After I saw them, I instantly fell in love with Smaug(like I had a villain crush on him. No seriously! I kind of have a crush on him!). He was not only a badass, but he's a villain for a reason: he's greedy for the treasure of the dwarves. Even after he was killed, his mental soul is still alive until Thorin destroyed him mentally. That's fricking mental. I mean, like really cool. So Smaug, I love you!

2) The Reluctant Dragon(The Reluctant Dragon)-Where to begin with this guy? Just how kind and friendly he is if you do not hurt him or mention anything on killing or fighting. This guy became my other favorite dragon ever since I watched this short. Basically, nowadays he may be considered gay by the way he acts, but me, I consider him as a guy I'd rather have a cup of tea with rather than slay. Plus not only that, I love his poetry especially "Little Upside Down Cake" and "Just A-Drifting." Plus his "fight" scene with Sir Giles is hilarious.

3) Spike(My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)-Who can resist SPike who is a cutie? Spike is like the little brother figure/son figure that Twilight only had for company until she came into Ponyville. Sure he is demoted to extra in a few episodes and a few episodes centered on him range from good(Gauntlet of Fire, The Times they Are A Changling) to bad(Princess Spike, Owl's Well that Ends Well), Spike is the best friend anybody can have. When it comes to his crush on Rarity, I think it's kind of cute though I am neutral on shipping them together(still think they're cute, but I also kind of ship him with Fluttershy at times).

4) Dragon(Shrek)-I loved Donkey's wife. She's badass and she's also shows that just ecause she's a dragon, she can still be as beautiful as Princess Fiona. Her appearences in the sequel are very small, but then again, part of the first movie had  her in a small role. Though despite this, in the musical, she has character development and even a backstory with the song "Forever", but I really like her song "Donkey Pot Pie" more and she talks in the musical.

5) Dojo(Xiaolin Showdown)-Wayne Kngith's performance as the wisecracking Xiaolin Dragon was one of the best things Xiaolin Showdown had to offer. He's funny and makes wise-jokes every now and then, but he'll be there for his friends no matter what it is.

6) Mushu(Mulan)-I put him on 6 because of his behavior in Mulan II, which I don't like as much as I used to(save for the beautiful music, Mulan and Shang getting married and the three princessses who endup with Yao, Chen Po and Ling.). However, I still like Mushu for his character development in the first movie. Mushu is not only a smartass, but he's also very loyal towards Mulan and during the first movie, he'd be willing to give up his title as guardian to help Mulan in defeating the Huns. Sure he got to be a guardian again in the end, but at least he earned it because of his kindness underneath that smart-aleck nature and his loyalty towards the Fa family.

7) Saphira(Eragon)-I haven't seen this movie in a long time, but I did read the book at a young age. Saphira had to be the coolest of the dragons. She is kind, beautiful and she's a mother figure towards Eragon and is a majestic creature to boot.

8) Toothless(How to Train Your Dragon)-Toothless is just too damn cute to be not on this list. And do I imagine him as a dragon version of Stitch without the mischeivious evil streak? I can. Though I cried at How to Train Your Dragon 2 when he briefly went berserk thanks to Drago Bloodthirst.

9) Draco(Dragonheart)-I haven't seen this movie yet, but his design is so cool looking and I really like how he has a friendship with Bowen despite all odds.

10) Elliot(Pete's Dragon 1977)-I loved this guy when I was a kid. Just wanna hug him. He may not talk normal, but he's a lovable dragon who'd do anything for his owner Pete. It still makes me cry that he has to leave Pete for a new owner after Pete gets adopted by Nora, Paul and Lampie. I honestly didn't like the Petes Dragon 2016 because of what they did to Elliot and how it strayed too much away from the classic.

I was gonna say "what about Grim Matchstick?" before I saw that this meme was made before the Cuphead game came out. And yeah, some of these dragons are pretty cool. I may one day do a top 50 dragons meme myself at some point. I have to say some of these dragons are pretty good choices
