Top 10 Couples That Should be Canon

And although Valentine's Day is over, I'd like to do this meme anyways. These are the couples that I think should've stayed together or couples that should've happened on their shows/movies and I ship them.

1) Angel and Buffy(Buffy the Vampire Slayer)-After seven seasons, I still wished Buffy ended up with Angel. I was happy that she became independent through the series, I really liked Buffy to end up with Angel. Through the first three seasons(to me they're the best), Angel was not like Edward Cullen, he had flaws and he and Buffy are star crossed and what makes it sad is that Angel cannot stay with Buffy because if he does he'd turn to Angelus. However, that doesn't mean that Buffy and Angel still see each other and kiss each other now and then(even after Buffy broke up with Riley and Spike). It goes to show that Angel to me will be Buffy's forever boyfriend. 

2) Pocahontas and John Smith(Pocahontas)-I hate Ratcliffe for getting rid of a potential couple and I hate the sequel for making Pocahontas and John Smith break up so she can date John Rolfe(I know it's in real life, but this is Disney, people, they can do alterations). I see why they were a perfect couple: they were both high-spirted and while Pocahontas showed John Smith the beauty of nature and about her people, John taught Pocahontas that she doesn't need to stand up for what's right and in her heart. 

3) Shaggy and Crystal(Scooby Doo and the Alien Invaders)-Let's be honest, I'm not too much of a fan of Scooby Doo, but I like some of their direct-to-video movies. This one was my childhood favorite. Even as a kid, I've shipped Crystal and Shaggy because Crystal was the perfect love interest. Crystal was the girl who thought he was funny despite his quirks, loved him for who he is and shared the same personalities as him. Plus she had a dog named Amber who was Scooby's love interest. Unfortunately, she turned out to be an alien and she and Amber had to leave both Shaggy and Scooby behind. I would've loved to see them hook up again instead of the forced ShaggyxVelma thing in later series. 

4) Jack and the Field Girl(Samurai Jack)-I watched the Samurai Jack finale and I was sad that Jack had lost Ashi(well, she came from the future and there was no way they were gonna stay together anyways, yet I do ship them), but then I realized that Jack is back in the past happy that Aku is dead and the future will be safe and sound. On the other hand, I remembered the Field Girl that he met in the past and wondered, 'Do you think they'll ever get together?' and I realize that it could be possible as the Chinese legend said that the number of spots on a ladybug will be a sign of true love coming your way, so that means that Jack might meet her again to fill in the void for Ashi. 

5) Wander and Beeza(Wander Over Yonder)-Although the show has no specific love interest for each character(except the whole Hater/Dominator), I had a feeling Wander had a crush on Beeza ever since "the Ball" and it's proven in one of the Wander shorts. I sometimes think that Beeza likes Wander cause he's funny and such(she probably was annoyed about Buster ruining their ball homes that they're used to it by now). 

6) Nelson Muntz and Lisa Simpson(The Simpsons)-Ever since "Lisa's Date with Destiny", I always had a feeling Nelson has a secret crush on Lisa, but hides it from her in later episodes by doing his bully facade. Plus, they had some moments in the show where they talk and there were no bullying moments, so it could be possible they might have feelings for each other even if Lisa crushes on other boys. 

7)  Cogsworth and Madame La Grande Bouche(Beauty and the Beast)-I know the Wardrobe is married to Cadenza in the 2017 remake, but let's be honest here. Growing up with the animated version and the Broadway musical, I've always shipped Cogsworth with Madame La Grande Bouche(yes, that's her name from the Broadway adaption that I still call her here and now). There was a hint in the end of the Broadway show where Cogsworth would be a fan of her opera singing and shows the two hooking up at the end. In my headcannon, they start dating after the curse was over. 

8) Fievel and Chelona(An American Tail III: The Treasure of Manhattan Island)-While I do not like this movie all that much, I do like Chelona. I also see the bonding scene between her and Fievel so cute that I started shipping them(and have Tony drop his crush on her as he already has Bridgit). 

9) Nick Mallory and Mina Beff(Grojband)-Nick and Mina deserved each other! We do not see them actually hook up in the show, but I've been wanting them to hook up as Nick always felt comfortable around Mina and Mina always wanted to be with him, but gave up her chance so her 'so-called-friend Trina could win his heart, but I have the feeling Nick has a crush on Mina. 

10) Dean Winchester and Jo(Supernatural)-Dean and Sam always had one night encounters with various women throughout the show, but if there's one woman for Dean, it's definatly Jo. Jo was to me, like a female counterpart to Dean as they were both snarky, yet caring. I am still sad that she died. I see her as the future Mrs. Dean Winchester.
